Max WHP of 240cc + FMU turbo setup?
Anyone know what WHP 240cc injectors (at 100% duty cycle) and an 8:1 FMU are capible of? My idea is that with minimal tuning in CromePro, no wiring of a resistor box, and no modded injector seals, I could still make a good 200whp on a sohc, and make it easy for the 'customer' to remove the the kit himself.
I was thinking about making some non-mod, bolton HMT kits to sell locally and was thinking about the best way to tune the cars. I'm looking at the various ways that would work for ~225whp, but wouldn't be that far off from car to car - and still be reliable. Basicly something to 'compete' with DSM injectors. Since I have CromePro and can get OBX FMU's at a wholesale prices, I was thinking the mix would be as reliable or better than DSMs, be close to the same price (no hassle of finding good & cheap set), and work with some of the best injectors on the market (for the price) - OEM honda 240cc's.
Of course a DSM setup is ideal when it comes to max power and ease of tuning, not to mention I can run much more boost, assuming I add in a 2.5bar MAP sensor. BTW flame suit is zipped, just in case.

Dude I need to work at a shop. If someone as clueless as yourself gets paid to do turbo installs I'd own the ------- place.
Fmu's add fuel pressure from a vacuum line when the engine goes from vacuum to boost. If you used something like that with crome you would never be able to get it tuned one minute the thing would dump rich and the next it would be lean.
With crome you can adjust how much fuel the injectors feed at any rpm range just ad some fuel or take it away depending on what you need. It's easy do some research and learn how to use your $150 software.
But over all I call BS on this guys post.

Are you talking about just increasing fuel pressure rail and using the 240cc? Im sure there are other ways to do it rather than using the stupid FMU's with Crome Pro. You should be shot if you are using both of those at the same time. Consider fuel pressure regulator. Keep this in mind, when the injectors are operating 80%+ duty cycle "---- HAPPENS!"

I have yet to see injectors fail at 100 percent duty cycle and have numerous times gone past
Um just run the fmu and missing link

How do you go past 100% duty cycle?

That's like flipping the light switch more on. <---- more... on,..... moron. That's it.
