Re: max boost for GSR
250 would be more around the safe side.. 300 is the make or brake mark.
yes there a good handfull of people out there pushing more then 300 on stock gsr blocks. i would personaly want around the 250 mark if you want it to last a fair amount of time. |
Re: max boost for GSR
a friend of mine has a stock gsr and runs 14lbs daily and makes good power i think when he had it tuned at inline pro he said something like 327whp witch is good power he also runs hondata, just not sure what turbo he runs

Re: max boost for GSR
would'nt that turbo be more like 12-14 psi to make 300-330 depending on down pipe and mani, and ofcourse the ems?

Re: max boost for GSR
The 63/60 is what is being supplied by the customer. Thats what he said he wanted to use . Now I'm thinking of keeping the GSR for myself (supposedly with TypeR cams), fully built. But I have a few questions on what I need to do to run atleast 20lbs. I would like to go all out and do it right the first time.
- What size turbo ? -TypeR cams ? - LS or GSR tranny ? - compression ratio ? Any other information is greatly apreciated. Thanx. |
Re: max boost for GSR
semi built single cam with a t3 .60/.63 can put down 250 whp. GSR has alot more power stock. so i think 300-350 whp is good for street use
