MAP sensor

hey is there any other ghetto way to trick the map sensor besides using check valves? can u use a diode or resistors to trick the ecu? what is the voltage profile for a Naturally Aspirated engine and what kind of woltage profile does a turbo chraged engine throw out?

I dont think you could resisters or diodes. The fuel map depends on that voltage comming back from the MAP at different throttle positions.A honda "voltage profile" is between 1-1.5 volts at closed throttle and 4.0-4.5 at wide open throttle. Why not just use a missing link if you are using an FMU.You shouldnt need valves or the "link" if your using the hack.

Re:MAP sensor

the max a honda ecu can see before freaking is 3 volts to the best of my knowledge...look in the fuel management section...there is a way to use resistors to fool the computer to run 450s without a cel for boost (basically like a single setting afc if i remember correctly)...the only reason to use check valves is for a missing link, like d16 said
