Default Manual Boost Controller

What do you think about cheap manual boost controllers? Are they usefuel for internal wastegated T3/T4B? Can they hold the boost till redline? I want 6psi, but 8psi sometimes.

Buy a TurboXS boost controller. I have one and it works good.

before you dive in and invest in what you're looking for, compare the facts/features. Yes EBC are the new wave and hold a lot of nice things, but I would suggest getting a halman pro MBC. Just read into them and see what they offer versus a regular bleed off screw kind.

More people will advise you what they recommend as this thread grows.

damn this thread again! hahah I'm still trying to figure out if I want to build my own or get that Halman or Turbo XS ones. I heard both of those are good... but I dont hav personal experiences with either one so my opinion is worthless.

I don't think a MBC can be so complex, i just need one that keep the boost i set, and that psi level doesn't move up/down even with internal wastegate.

can't boost be controled by shortenning waste gate actuator arm=increasing boost. lengthening wg arm=decresing boost?
