Which manifold to use and retain A/C?

Call me a weakling I need my a/c! I'm planning a D16Z6s + T25 in my CX and reading this websites and people with similar setups (mostly 14Bs are used though) they all got rid of A/C.

Would it be possible to route the charge pipes around the compressor? which exhaust manifold would be best to use?

Thanks,
Sean

Its definatly going to have to be a custom manifold, first off, nobody even really makes 14b/t25 manifolds, they are usually all custom or people are using hf/std manifolds with adapter plates.

If you want to retain AC you can, you will need to mount the compressor side towards the passenger side, (like how th normal t-25 sits) and make a manifold that will allow it to sit over their.

The problem isn't the routing of the charge pipes. The turbo will be in the way. They would physically have to occupy the same space. Maybe if you hade a spaced made to physically shift the turbo a couple inches to the left?

I know that no one makes a manifold but like you said HF/VX/STD manifolds...i was asking if using a certain one would allow me to keep A/C.

Maybe I could have a manifold fabricated to top-mount the turbo...

None as far as I know,

Greddy's kit supports AC, and Not sure if the drag kit will or not..

Thanks, Yeah the DRAG supports A/C I believe.

thanks for the advice, I think ill see if i can get a manifold to mount the turbo a bit higher...depending on cost.

higher doesnt matter, you just want it away from the ac compressor, and you really need to watch it with your downpipe on AC setups because it gets incredibly close with the compressor in the way,

Anyhow good luck!

You don't need AC, don't be a -----. Just roll your windows down. ;D

haha true... i really dont use A/C that often but sometimes it is hot as a mo-fo!

it'd be better if i had a damn 200lbs. sunroof ;)

keep your A/C..you will be happy when u take a girl out on a date and you dont have to explain to her why you took out a perfectly good a/c...with no a/c your girlfriends hair will fall, her makeup will go away, she will get stinky..then you got a ugly stinky girlfriend..do you really want that? just make your own manifold..when i figure out how to post pics. i can show you the manifold i built, i had to shave the webbing on my block a little..but i got A/C.. on my motor(b16a2) only problem is the clutch master cylinder gets in the way of me putting any kind of intake in front of my turbo..but i got a piece of foam and steel bug screen to keep my turbo from sucking in the dirty stuff.
