Making a simple dual stage boost controller. Solenoids?

Problem:
I have issues in first gear with traction at 7psi, and I want to run more.

Answer:
Make a dual-stage boost controller system that will run 7psi (wastegate spring) in 1st, and 10/12/14/whatever psi in every other gear (ie once I pass 35mph).

I have everything figured out except for the solenoid. I need a solenoid that will either:
A) Switch from one vacuum source to another, in the form of a Y or a "tee".
B) Open or close when it's supplied with power.

Now, there are plenty of solenoids in the engine bay already, I'm wondering if there is one that will fit this purpose. Anyone know? Anyone have suggestions as to where I can find any solenoid to suit my purpose?

We all have traction problems in First Gear.

We get slicks, LSD, and traction bars.

Hooking up with 7 or more psi is faster then hooking a less then 7 psi and using 7 or more in all other gears!

jeff did one a while back, he used some sort of solenoid from a kia.

its really old school, so you're gonna have to look for a bit.

i just bought a dual stage with a solenoid that does what you describe, it hasnt arrived in the mail yet so I am not sure the specs on it, but if it has some part #'s or anything on it I will post em when it arrives.

Something like this? This is an OEM solenoid that used to control the ABV on my brother's S/C setup. Since his standalone doesn't have the controls for it, we pulled it, and plugged the lines.

I think the Toyota P/N is 25740-16020

I want to raise the boost in every gear but first, but thanks for the smart answer.

here is the solenoid I was talking about, only writing on it is "ECI 12 volt" The ECI looks like a brand logo

good luck with making one, i used the solenoid off of a crx and couldn't get the bastard to work for the life of me. I tried it several different ways to. Here is some info on it.

2nd gen mazda rx7 have several solenoids under the hood that work (i mean alot of them, lol), with various different port open/closed circuit actuations. The solenoid that controls you charcol canister may also work, its right beside the map sensor on 4thgens. :)
