making a drain plug on the turbo.....
i have a t-25 turbo and i am making a plate out of 1/2" aluminum to bolt to the drain of the turbo. then was going to tap an npt fitted hole and use a barb connector to connect to my oil pan. what size npt should i tap the hole and what size barb would i need? thaks brian

Very large, whatever ID the hole is on the oil drain, the larger the better, I am guessing around 1/2 or so, maybe bigger..

I'm running a 5/8 hose to my oil pan. I found the fitting for the oil pan at a car parts store. I showed him the hose and he found me a fitting and o-rings; then I went to Lowe's and found a nut that would thread with it.

you have to understand the oil returning through this line is oftern whipped like butter. so the bigger the line the better..
