lsvtec turbo arp rod bolts.
The LS has 8mm rod bolts, Its one of the weak links of the LS bottom end. Most people I know change them out for LS/Vtec but its your choice, If you are going to build it and want to do it right change them, ARP's are only 35 bucks.

talked to jeff yesterday and said on 3 of lsvtec hes built he just used stock rod bolts too, shifted at 8500 and all and has never had any problems, ive heard this from many people as well as my old lsvtec. so i duno just trying to get opinions.
there supposed to be a press fit but you should be able to get them in/out fine without. its also recommended to have the big ends of the rods replastiguaged after you install the rod bolts because they have a higher TQ value than the stockers.
