Default ls vtec turbo smoking at idle

installed a new sc6265 about 4-5 months in my fully built ls vtec and work fine till about two weeks when start smoking at idle after a minute of cold start. There's oil in the exhaust housing but the smoke is blue, good leak down and comp. test 200 across the board, so no valves no H.G.

What are the symptoms of a rear bad seal on the turbo?

i'm gona change valve seal this week end.

definite sign of failed turbo seals. replacing the seals will not fix your problem since the original seals only failed in 6 months. you need to check your oil pressure to the turbo. if its too high it will damage the seals. if its too low it will damage the turbo. if you have a journal bearing turbo then you need to add a 0.060" oil restrictor. if you have a ball bearing turbo then you need to add a 0.030" oil restrictor. always make sure you are getting your oil feed from the engine block and not the cylinder head. cylinder head oil pressure can vary drastically from the engine block oil pressure.

my feed line is from a oil filter adapter and running a .060" restrictor , oil pressure at cold start is 80psi. Turbo is journal type

i buy a new step gap seal to replace the old one and made a new return line.
