lowering the compression

i have a b16 (duh) anyway i want to lower my compression. i have 10.2 to 1 i want to lower to 9.2 to 1 without ------- with internals. i figure adding a extra headgasket would work or copper what do you think.

If I remember right I think Mr. Gasket has a gasket set that can be stacked to lower compression. I know they make it for some Honda motors, but not sure about B16s. If they use the same gaskets as B18C's then I think it would work. By the way, I saw this in Summit Sport Compact.

I guess so, but you'll be limited in boost. I would think.

Re:lowering the compression

Quick question about compressions....I thought that if you had a higher compression ratio you could run less boost and get the same HP as if you lowered compression and ran more boost? Am I just on crack or is this true?

it sound good on paper but sometimes it doesn't work and sometimes it does. its like hit or miss i guess.
