in the april '03 issue of honda tuning they had an article called budget boost where they turbo'd a crx. to lower the boost they bent the wastegate in toward the turbo and said they would get about 5-6 pounds of boost. would this work?

id much rather prefer cutting it and threading on a coupler with nuts. its adjustable and more accurate. then you can use a pressure relief valve for a more instant opening.

ya, I did that hole treding thing and it works the best I can go all the way down to 1psi than back to 9psi with a cuple turns of the rench ;D

Why dont you try throwing that piece of ---- actuator in the trash and going external!

Re:lowering boost

high c, good to hear. youre also using the relief valve? otherwise it would seem that the flapper would just slowly open and be a waste of energy
