Default lowering boost on a 14b

ok i looked at the FAQ so dont freak out about that...but i still dont really understand how it works? i couldnt see the spring at all from the pic...do you run the spring inside? thats the only way i could see the wastegate opening and not holding any boost if the spring snapped...

i just want to back the boost down to like 6 psi...and i was hoping to use the carb spring instead of bending the actuator arm since i didnt want to leak the boost all the time...

Should be able to just a carb spring, just make sure its on the right side of the WG arm, or you'll increase boost.

I'm lazy.... ya thats the basic idea... just to hold the flapper shut, the more tension, the more boost. Or you can put a helper spring on the wastegate actuator arm going the opisite way to help open the wastegate actuator arm sooner. I did that with a T25 setup.
