Losing Boost... Need some help...

Ok, here is the story. I never had a boost gauge before I got my dual boost controller. After that I got my boost gauge. Ok, well, the gauge was always reading from 8-10psi when I had the boost controller all the way close. Today I decided to disconnect the boost controller and experiment. Well, I ran the car with the turbo on stock boost with no boost controller. My boost gauge would read up to 6psi but settle at 5psi and would stay at five all the way to redline. Then, I placed a small T in line on the vacuum line. I ran the car again and my boost gauge read 10psi. Now, I took the car to redline and noticed that I was losing boost at the high rpms bad! From 5-7000 rpms my boost gauge would go from 10psi to 5-6 psi. That's about 4-5psi lost. I was having this problem when I was running 13psi with the boost controller as well. It would go from 13psi to 6-8 psi. Does anyone have this problem and does anyone have a solution for it?

Right when I was coming home from "testing" a red NSX was there. I tried to raced him but lost because of the boost lost. I was basically running 5-6psi in the higher rpms. If I were only running the 15psi at that time and actually keeping the boost!

If the T is bigger, do you get more boost, or the smaller the T, the more the boost?

Ya know, I was having problems with leed's homemade boost controller, doing basically the same thing, loosing 3-4psi. I've always had really bad luck with my hmt boost controllers moving all over the place. To be honest, I started using one of those expensive TurboXS's boost controllers and the thing doesnt even move. My boost has always held dead on. Maybe it will work in your case maybe not. What kinda duel stage controller are you running? And whats your wastegate source? have you tried using the intake manifold?
