Re: looking to turbo d16z6
14g would be good on a stock engine. a friend of mine has a 16g on a b16 and boost comes on a little late, but with the high revving b16 its ok. depending on the deals you find be ready to spend $700-1000

Re: looking to turbo d16z6
yea b/c i found a xspower/ssautochrome kit for $660 shipped....but i hrd theyre quality sucks... so i rather just build my own...

Re: looking to turbo d16z6
it seems when the moons align and if you hop on one foot during the install, then the ssauto stuff works, but you will learn a lot more and probobly have a better kit if you build it yourself. just start with the 14g and an hf manifold with some DSM 450's. you will have some fun with it and beat some stock v8's

Re: looking to turbo d16z6
i spent 1200 on my d16z6 turbo setup, including wideband and crome-pro. It is important not to cheap out on tuning it. I keep a wideband attached at all times.

Re: looking to turbo d16z6
No, no, no.....I'm not suggesting a 14b I suggest the 16g. I did the scrolling 14b because there is no such thing as a 14g you n00bs, sheesh.
16g, pansy. JP |
