Looking for suggestions

Okay, I have an 89 ford probe gt turbo. Turbo seals went out and I went an purchased a different turbo for the setup and had an adapter plate made to adapt to the stock turbo mani. (made from alumnium as thats all I could have my buddy make it from) and home retroed the manifold for an external waste gate. The first time around I didn't have a flex pipe installed in the dp so it shook itself to peices. Now I've redone the setup and put in a flexpipe and it held for a day as long as I kept it out of boost. However after I hit boost with it, it continues to vibrate the turbo off the adapter plate and it won't even hang on there without going into boost now. Am I not torqueing it tight enough to the adapter plate or what?

I'm looking for suggestions and am open to ideas on how to fix the issue any help and ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Aluminum was not a good choice for an adapter plate.

Try some better fasteners - you are buying high quality bolts meant for heat, yes?

I tried using red locktite, it just dripped down off the studs and did no good :3

Yes I realise the aluminum was a bad choice, tried getting one made out of steel before I put it together but no one here had the time.

It keeps coming apart at the bottom of the plate, meaning the turbo keeps falling away. For fastners to hold the turbo up I have 4 8x1.25 exhaust studs using lockwashers and the nuts that came with the studs.

If someone has some suggestions for better fastners, I am all ears.

If I could ever get image hack to send me an e-mail I'd post some photos.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

You have the right fasteners, it might be the diff exp rate of aluminum.

More than likely that's what it is. After a while egt's will probably melt through the aluminum.
