Can any help me out, I'm looking for a turbo to use on my CBR 600 and wanted to use a GT15 Garrett but just can't seem to find anything around. Is there any other turbo that is similar to the gt15 and does anyone know of a north american car that had this turbo as OEM?

The GT15 was fitted to quite a few cars and diesels I found a list a while ago, but don't seem to have bookmarked it. Anyway, its fitted to alot of the LPT saab's. Along with a few large capacity diesels which all seem to be EDM.

 

Just search for volvo turbo on ebay, there's a bunch on there.

And if you need one for mock up, I have one I got for free with ~ 1/4" of sideplay. I'd obviously give you a great deal. :1

I would probably have to wait another week or so to recover from christmas spending. and by the way do you know what models of volvo the gt15 came on. I'm finding td05 turbos, are those similar do you know? Sorry for all the questions but this will be my first turbo project and I'm not 100% on what unit will work best were a gt15 would work.

Here's a link to one I found. judging by what the HP output is rated at it would seem that this turbo would fit somewhere between the garrett gt15 and gt25, once again I'm not 100% but it seems like it?

Some saabs have gt17's, they're pretty small, but I don't know what a gt15 specs out at so maybe i'm way off here.You might want to look at those though.
