t3 .42/.48 came on a few mopars, crysler lebaron and similar cars, but that flange was uber gay, I have one, it sucked to make the flange work. they also come on most saabs, and I think there may have been some on volvos as well, I'm not sure on that one though.

how was the flange different? what made it so hard?

Re:lookin for T3

it has a non standard t3 flange with an offset bolt.....just makes it a hassle to work with but you can redrill

re-drilling is a bitch on a flange. after an hour of drilling, and 2 bits, i still managed to drill it crooked. weld it to a adaptor plate and be done with it.

I welded the turbo to an adaptor plate, then bolted the adaptor plate to the manifold.

would a drill press help? i've got one at my parents house..

Re:lookin for T3

A drill press will help you keep from drilling the hole crooked. Just be sure and do the following:

--Use good bits
--Use a cutting oil of some sort
--start with a small bit and move up
--Keep your bits cool
--measure it. don't just eyeball it.
--be patient
