look at what i make at my new job
well they are made with a wax molding basically then covered with sand and alcohol mix ---- called slurry then heated and the wax melts out then titanium or steel is poured into it then you have the finished product i sandblast them.

Steel for compressor wheels? Sure. You probably mean an alloy of ALUMINUM.

well we deal with three metals... Titanium, Steel, and Titanium Aluminide. im not sure what those are but my bet is on titanium aluminide. and most the parts we make are for boeing and rolls royce airplane engine parts. ill take some pics of them tomorrow.

Dunno. But, its an instance where casting titanium is possible with the help of the aluminum alloy as well. Do you have a connection there? I need a new compressor wheel on a rare german supercharger I have.
