log style vs. equal length

i'm new to the board but not all that new to cars, i currently own an 89 supra turbo and used to have a 94 civic si. i'm looking at going back to my roots (so to speak) as the hondas are much easier to work on and play with. my question is if anyone has had much of an improvement going from a log style manifold to the race style equal length ones. thanks for the great site and all the information i've found.

p.s. i tried searching, but maybe i did not word the search correctly and could not find anything ;D

Re:log style vs. equal length

The first one would make more power and quicker.. but they are known for cracking. its a gamble if you buy it. the second one is pretty basic and probably doesn't perform any better than a long manifold. FWIW I will have two B series log manifolds ready in about a week.. I'm gonna sell them for $175 shipped within the states. They will work with ac. I don't have any pictures of them yet but I should have pics along with a "HOW TO" web page once I get them finished.
