Log, equal length...???

So what is the difference? I know a log style is like the barebones turbo header you can get and a full equal length tubular would be the best, but in what way is a equal length crazy ass medusa face manifold better? Will it give more hp with same amount of boost? More boost with same turbo? etc.

the equal length spools the turbo alot faster=goal psi at lower rpms cause the gases will travel faster due to the smoother flow. same hp at the same psi with either manifold i think, almost sure.

there was a post jsut a few weeks ago where they compared them. the equal length manifold made like 40 or so more hp then the log style

Are there any afforadable equal length mani's? Would one even be beneficial for a 14b?

Thanks for the replys, I really am looking forward to getting an equal length manifold when I go turbo. My friend's boyfriend owns Dynotuned which is a local tuner shop here in Madison WI and he is making nearly 300 whp on a B20 T3/T4 at only 5 psi!!!! He said it's cuz of his kickass manifold.
