FIRST OFF THIS IS NOT AN SS AUTOCRAP MANNIFOLD! IT IS THICKER AND WILL BE FINE HAD IT LOOKED AT

hey guys. Check out my setup.. Is that rubber coming off of my turbo by the manifold going to melt? it came with the intercooler piping. I cant point the turbo down because it will hit a motor mount. What you guys think?

It's hard as ell to tell, but that's coming off the compressor, right? It should be fine. Everybody has a silicone/rubber connector coming off the compressor.

Is it that close? How close is it? How about cutting it shorter and using metal pipe instead just for that little section? I would wrap it in something to help keep the heat out.

yeah, or just use some heat wrap on the manifold. but what dr. boost said seems logical

I would replace the part by the manifold with a metal section personally.

and it's h dub duce, not h duce duce, it just sounds better. Is that in an accord or a prelude? my friend just got an h dub duce in his 4th gen prelude, it kicks by b16s ass.

i have had rubber hose/charge pipes REALLY close to the manifold with no problems....infact i think i have one now that is about that close, no melting problems...

btw why not just go with a steel/aluminum pipe insted?
