Default LIMITS of a 40mm Tial wastegate?

I've been tryin to find out their limits on a 2 liter with a HP rating before it starts to get massive creep. But I cant find ---- with relativity to what I have. Spiker I'm sure you will chime in, or JD or one of the other TUNARZ will. Blundar said a number last tune session but he is on vacation I think and I'm not wanting to ask to find out. SO ANYONE have a great and intelligent info like flow rating/hp/torque to back up the info? I'm not wanting to find out the limits on the dyno and wnating to get ---- together before hand.
And Eville140 I may be shipping my mani back to you depending on the answers for upgrading the tubing of the WG and DP

yeah but i think you forgot that the wide body kit allows for an extra 75hp so i would go with 275

psi limits a wastegate more than horsepower does

dunno, but designing your manifold efficiently to use the wastegate (not like cdm cast on #1 runner) would add a few hp to the limit for sure

He doesn't have a CDM setup anymore. Check the pics he's posted on his car. Baller Eville manifold that flows awesome but from my ready I would suggest a bigger wastegate or duels and attention to the valve cover/crank case pressure setup you have. It scares me more than clowns......

I think those old Tial 40's are pretty much 38's or they have 38mm outlets. Id say as long as ur not wanting to run low boost the 40mm WG will be fine.

how is their a PSI limit on the wastegate? U can always just run a stiffer spring if it cant hold the pressure.

He has the Synapse ----.

WHatdepicts the needed WG is how much air has to flow past the turbine...lHOW MUCH it can flow past the wheel to maintain consistant boost levels without creeping... The more boost you run, the less air needs to bypass, so you wont need as much wastegate.l Too small, and it cant keep up, so it creeps.. He has a .63 housing too, thats on the small side. It will spool sick nasty, but well see if the Synapse is enough. Id go with a Tial 44, but I told him that from day 1.

Hell probably be fine with the 40mm

BUT ID do at LEAST 2 -10s off the back of the VC for Crankase evac... I have those and a -8 on the pan too an Endyn can. Not 1 issue.
