Lightweigt crankshaft in turbo motor?
ERl has moreexperience then any of us building honda blocks, they must have had a few eagle cranks fail on themfor not going with it. Ask them.
But you can't comparea crank with a rod..there different forces at work on both....the crank has more to endure then the rod's

like anyone cares...but the japaneese guys tell me they accually add weight to there flywheels (I dont know how) but yes, they accually add weight so the RPM's dont fall when shifting. What good is a fast reving motor gonna do for you?

im not into drag racing as much as mountain passing, i would rather gain rpms out of the corners and build boost faster so get a harder pull on a straight before slowing down again for a corner. That shy im designing a homemade version of the WRC rally cars ALS system.
but in short im going to go with a stock balanced crank, and light flywheel, that should get me where i want it.
oh and yes.. i have seen some engine builders get there NA motors to rev just like a Indy car. It makes the hair on my arms stand up every time i hear the 1971 240 Z datsun rev.

Dynamically unbalanced four cylinder are going to flex stock crank anyway. So? I dunno much about the Eagle aftermarket units except I doubt I'd ever buy one - too much $.
I'd call RLZ and ask.
That makes zero sense, unless you lift off the gas pedal between shifts like a girl, or a nancy boy.
