lenght of a oil feed line?

What is the maxium lenght of a oil feed line to a turbo can you have? Would a 6 feet long line would be consider too long? And one more thing, has anyone use a mini oil cooler between the turbo and from the oil outlet from the oil perssure sensor?

Personally, I wouldn't go over 40" for a feed line, but as long as you have decent pressure, I can't see any reason why a 72" line wouldn't work. You'll want to use a pressure gauge to check it though. Why would you need a line that long? What is this for?

I'm trying to figure this out, cause I want to try to mount a mini oil cooler around the engine bay which will feed into the turbo itself. (cooler the oil better for the turbo, right?) It might sound stupid but will try and let you guys know.
