leaner #1 cyl.

i got a zc boosting 10lbs with smc settings around 35 in top revs. When i pull over to look at my plugs the cylender 1 is always the leanest. are all hondas like this?

Re:leaner #1 cyl.

switch your #1 injector with your #4 and see if it runs leaner on #4

look at this pic and you tell me why the #1 cylinder would be running leaner.....

Mine has always done the same thing. And everyone has always told me injector problem. And I always figured it was because of that diagram that was just posted.

get a regulator and bump up pressure so that there is more pressure and your lil injectors will be happy!

If you fuel pump is keeping up it should be more than capable of maintaining an equal pressure along the entire rail. You are probably at the limits of your fuel pump or have a clogged injector.

good call on the diagram GhettoD. Im running a walbro 255 and 450s so there should be no shortage of fuel unless i got a bad injector. Ill try to switch injectors and see what happens.

Yeah i was getting tired of explaining it to people and i rememebered thats where i learned why that happend... anyways... you also might want to replace your fuel filter....Cause that might be causing it. If the regulator dont work...

I was reading once on a turbo magazine... they were doing free upgrades to donar cars... and some dude fried his ------- pistons on the way to the shop to have the work done... reason? Clogged fuel filter... result: melted piston....

So yeah... get a new one... or one of those they have at like kragen or something... where you can see through it and change the filter whenever its clogged.. i think its like 20$ or so?

I was gonna mention that... but if you see the diagram... it should come to mind also
