if it was "leaking" vacuum, you would see a number lower than the normal 22, not higher. a higher number means MORE of a vacuum, which would either be a faulty gauge or something wrong with where you wired it through.

what did you tap your boost line into?

if you are leaking, you would hear it in your cabin.... you would hear a loud whoosh when getting on boost, followed by a loud sucking noise when you let off the gas. in other words, you would KNOW you had a leak, you'd hear it.

if it doesn't make any noises and it reads wrong, you either installed it wrong or the gauge is jacked up. does it sit at zero when the car is off? what does it show at idle? what does it show under full boost? give us more details, including WHAT you hooked it up to.

well, it acts as if it sticks a bit, when the car is off it sits like 3 psi below 0, at idle its at 30 vac, also its hooked up to the brake booster, i teed off the brake booster and ran a 4 piece T to my rrfpr, bov, and my boost gauge, it used to read 28,

I read somewhere that the brake booster vaccuum line is restriced or some ----, making it a bad place to T your boost gauge off of.
