You'd be better off letting the clutch slip a bit until you get out of the hole.

Yeah I was going to give that a shot on my next run, but we only ran 4 times. Next time, next time...

Whats up suspension wise?

That front end gets awfully unloaded.

Running GCs(500f &600r) and koni yellows. The shocks were all set to soft. I guess setting the rears to hard would help, right??

Well the stock yellows ony adjust rebound, so it really won't matter.

But sure, knock yourself out. Riding with them all the way soft sucks anyway, they aren't stiff enough at full stiff to be harsh, it actually rides better that way ( I have yellows).

Well i try out some different settings on the street. I've just been to lazy to mess with them since I got em'

Just go with full stiff all the way around, the compression dampening is the same regardless, and that extra resistance will keep the nose down when it wants to pull up, just slightly though.

If you have stiffer rear springs you'll be fine, though I think that anything over 500lb/in will ---- the stock cup seals in the dampener.

That's Commerce, GA, right? That's 'bout an hour, hour and a half away from me. I went back in April I believe to DIN shootout. Been meaning to go back, I think they have test n tune EVERY Friday night, right?? My ass should be there right now, but I doubt they'd let jr ride shotgun at the ripe age of a year old.

Yeah most Fridays. And probably not on the ride along. I brought my wife and daughter that night and ran with the babyseat in the back. lol.

Re: Latest track times...(edit: now w/ pics)

for your launch i would suggest just leaving the line like you do on the street just pulling away just more throttle
i have learned from trial and error and some reading and found that to be the fastest for most any car from a corvette to a civic to sport bikes the only car that didn't work with that was an old 12a rx7 i had if you didn't bring the revs to about 6500rpm then it would bog off the line but slipping the clutch would heat it up and make it slip so you had to just bring the revs to 6500rpm dump the clutch floor it and leave 10-15ft or rubber on the road to not bog down (tho it think it needed new seals the car is gone but it ran a best time of 14.2 non turbo with 122k miles)

It made 216hp on 8 or 9ish psi. So i'd assume around 220 maybe.
