I have a questions with regards to the KKK K26.
First of all, I'd like to know if I'll need an
external wastegate, if I'll use a K26...
I ca'nt seem to find out whether I do, 'cause
I can't find any descriptions of the KKK K26...
I managed to "borrow" the turbo diagram off the '86 Audi
5000 CD Turbo Quattro
Please let me know whether I'll need to use an external wastegate, or whether I can use something else (tell me what)....

I thought all the k26 turbos were externally gated? just look at the turbocharger? is their a internal wastegate on it?

That's the problem I'm having...
I'm trying to figure out whether there's an external wastegate with this turbo....
ANYONE OUT THERE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THIS TURBO, please H.E.L.P....

this is the audi wastegate, i have one i have modded it to do 8psi. i might do a write on how u do it soon, its set at 14.5 psi stock.

What kind of headers are you going to use with this wastegate? Is there any way to modify a stock honda header (from any Honda car) in order to fir this wastegate on it?
If not, then please tell me what options I have left with regards to the headers.

 

u make your own with a wastegate elbow.

 

On which header?
(Would it work on a '96 CX header?)
How the heck do you just "make" an elbow....?

dood u build your own manifold outta butt weld tubes and a head flange and turbo flange, then u weld in an elbow the wastegate.. quite a bit of work
