KKK K24 on a JDM SiRII...... show me the manifold and downpipe...!
Hey HMT,
This is my first post here....I was forwarded over by Hondaswap.com.....they said you guys were the ones to ask. But anyways, glad to be a part of HMT.
So my question.
I just aquired a brand new, never used, KKK/Blitz K24 Turbocharger. I've been told that it will be a ----- to find a manifold and downpipe for this unit...... Does anyone know of one that would fit my stock B16A?
Also, I don't know much about the power potential of this unit... someone told me it has about the same output as a T3 Super 60. Anyone farmiliar with this unit? All I know is that it was orginally for a Porshe, but the person who gave it to me swapped his motor from his 82 911 for something rediculous, so he had no need for it. He also has a K27 laying around if I want it.....
Lastly, if I could get a manifold for this unit, is it a good match for a stock B16A? I dont really have much of a power goal per say......around the 220wph area is where I'd like to be.
Any input is appreciated....thanks.

220whp is doable. i would say its about the same size as a true super 60. if i remember correctly. the flange is the same as a t3 flange. if you have the gasket or can get the gasket. im sure BMCrace can fab up a manifold for you

Thanks for the info. If we could somehow confirm that the flange is indeed a T3 flange, that would make things a whole lot easier when it comes to selecting a manifold.
If anyone knows for sure, please post it up

Don't know how the BLitz KKK K24 is like, but if it's anything like the KKK K24 I see in OEM VW's...then I would say get a bigger turbo..that thing is like a T25 or smaller.
We installed one on a D14A SOHC 6th gen coupe...it spooled fast on that engine.

But if he can get a pic of it, it's a lot easier to determine whether it will fit with a standard t3 flange.

you mat be thinking of the k03s or k04
i believe teh k24 came on TT Porsches

Hey guys,
I will try and take a pic of it this weekend....and yes, I actually do have it as someone here was implying I didn't. My only thing getting in the way of posting a pic is that 1) My Digi is in Germany with my girlfriend, and 2) The turbo is still laying at the dude's house....it had a tiny bit of rust on it (it's brand new, but it's been sitting for a few years), so he said he'll clean it up for me.
The K24 did indeed come from a Porshe. As I said, he's got a few of these things laying around.....
Q: Do you guys think the K27 would be a better choice for my engine? he has one of those too. I know alot of SR20's use that turbo....
