keeping the ac?
 

ive looked at all the instals that you have on the main page and nobody keeps their ac when doing a HMT on a d16z6. i live in san diego and plan on moving to vegas. I know the new edelbrock kits retains the ac not sure about the greddy turbo kit. has anybody tryed a 14b on a hf manifold but put the inlet facing to the passenger side? let me know what you guys think thanks....oh yeah i tryed to search so if this has been posted before 0 well. TIA dave

yeah, we really don't deal with a/c becuase we're not pussies.





















Actually, you can build a HMT kit and keep A/C, you just need the right manifold and a little more patience

well what is the "right manifold" and if i live in Philadelphia i wouldnt need ac either =)

The SSautoshit manis work, Shitbird log manifold, BMC Racing I believe do as well. You just need to clock the turbo the right way to make it work. You can also usualy find a Greddy manifold and buy an adapter plate for it.

thanks for the reply.. i have a mig welder but its gonna cost 200 bills to convert to weld stainless steel. i was thinking of just building my own log manifold..

building it yourself is the best option. Just use mild steel thats what I used

NICE did you make that minifold yourself or buy it?? link me if you bought it .. also how long have you been running that set up? just wondering if there is any wear and tear on log mani's when they are made out of normal steel.. thanks , dave

that`s a Max-rev manifold..
had it for like 2 months
no cracks no nothing...
i think ---- bird has a something similar at a good price.
it not just the manifold but the downpipe too.

BIG thanks to Albert for making that downpipe for me.(even tho he kept on bitchin about how ----- A/C are :P) ;D
