Default JY twin turbo update (if anyone cares!)

So I took my twin turbo car to the chassis dyno.. I loose some due to my loose converter and big tires, but it did ok for a stock motor. I forgot to have the guy watch the boost gauge, but I see around 11.8 on the street. There was also no air flow for the intercoolers, so on a cold night it should do better. Air temp at the time outside was 95 deg. Anyhow..

405 RWHP at 6500 prm (still climbing, but I had to respect the stock hypercrapticinstamelt pistons :P )
513 ft/lbs of torque at 3000 rpm, over 400 from 2500 to 5000, so I guess these diesel turbos will spool after all!

few numbers, they start the test at 1750 rpm in high gear and floor it against the load on the rollers

torque: 1750 168
2000 350
2500 461
3000 513

They also gave me an rpm versus mph graph..

1750 rpm 35 mph
6500 rpm 135 mph

total elapsed time 6.89 seconds

Now all I have to do is fix the oil pan leak so I can take it to the track.

Have fun! Later!

Ooops.. sorry, been awhile since I was on here..

Car is a 68 camaro, with a 96 LT1 350 in it.

Here is a link to the buildup page : http://camaroz28.cardomain.com/membe...=199561&page=5

And a pic of the mess:

And another of the passenger side piping (still need to get the pipes coated, in a couple weeks):

Last but not least, a couple videos can be found at: http://www.freewebs.com/heads_up_racing/videos.htm

Good work dude,
Thanks!

Just for reference, at the end of the vid, where they catch back up, we were rolling at 45 mph, and I pulled down to second. Passing gear is GOOD!!

That was shot before I realized that the BOV was venting a lot of boost to the air.. it runs JUST a little bit better now! It isn't making any more boost pressure wise, but it comes on a lot quicker, and pulls harder, so I think the turbos were having to make more boost to get the same number to the intake. I'll know for sure when I get some forged pistons in it and crank up the boost.
