yes.. this puny intercooler i have, size of 8x11 paper, works really well.. maybe it's the fact that it is FMIC... well today i tested it, i ran my car for an hour or so, boosting every now and then, after i came home i felt the charge pipe before the intercooler, hot as usual, felt the one after it... COLD

damn, even my pipes insdie my engine bay were kinda cool to the touch... i guess this works for a low boost app!

Yup, you'd be suprised how those and other small intercoolers work. Any little bit of cooler intake temps help get rid of detonation. I had a few Galant intercoolers at one time, never got to use them. They kinda look funny, but already black, perfect for the sleeper IC

 

Right now my car is "hot-air" until I get the money for a $300 customcoach IC and piping ( not like my current PVC, hehe ).

I was going to put the galant IC where my battery is since there is a straight away of piping there and the inlet/outlet is perfect for it.

I still have my zex kit, so I'm going to run 5psi and 55shot intercooler until I can get the money for the BIG IC.

 

has anyone herd anythinga bout those johnny race car intercoolers??
