Just starting my first turbo project.. Need a lot of help :)

Hello,

I was reading this website and forum for over 1 month now and decided to go turbo...
I bought 1993 Honda Del Sol SI which is 1.6 SOHC VTEC with 125HP.

Now I want to turbo it.. which turbo can you recommend?
I want all information you can provide.. I have 1000$ to spend.

My goal is 200-250HP on stock internals and wichout blown engine if it's possible..
BTW I'm sorry for my poor english.. I'm from Republic of Georgia.

How much HP can I gain from these turbos? How much PSI is safe on my stock engine?
I need as more information as is possible.. what intercooler can you recommend, any cheap manifold?

OK. I'll post another question... What rpm 14b turbo would kick in? Are 450cc injectors ok? Where to buy manifold bellow $300, where to buy good intercooler?

As long as I know 6 PSI is safe on my engine.. How much would turbo affect engine life?

Thanks.

I’ve heard a few people say the ssac intercoolers are a good deal for the money. I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad about them just everything else ssac sales .

450cc injectors will work good your just going to need a chipped ecu or a afc hack or the cars going to run pig rich . can you say cylinder wash and or these brand new plugs are fouled . :1
oh one more why won't my car start I did everything right. :S

It's cool you’ve been doing some research on your own but.

if your asking all these questions on what to buy, i dont think you should be putting a turbo on your car. I hate to say it, but buy a greddy kit and get someone on honda tech to do an install for you. then you can all wack to gay porn together.

Nah he just needs to read for another three months . then build his own kit.
Learning anyhing from a forum is tough because you'll get two our three conflicting answers to your to the same question. at some point you have to post some questions of your own and see what everyone says. But if you don't even have the ability to filter bullshit atleast 70% of the time your fucked.
