Default Just picked up a turbo, need an idea as to what it is.

So, I just scooped up a nice little piece tonight, for $100...Now the split T4 flange, dual fin compressor wheel, 3" v band (actually maybe 4") downpipe flange, and massive size of this thing leads me to believe that I have came across a pretty good deal. Although the turbo is journal bearing, and only oil cooled. The wierd thing though is that the hotside is MASSIVE.

Only markings on the entire thing were a circle with lines pointing out all around it with a 20 in the center, and a WB logo inside of an oval. Also it says it's .60 A/R on the compressor housing.

here are some pics? Any ideas?

Not a damn one. I'll try and snap a few pics of the logos that it does have on it. I just want to know, so I can research, and read up on a compressor map of some sort, to let me know how/ or if my motor will spool this ******. lol

Why do you people insist on picking up turbos that you have no idea on, usually they are to big or small for what you want and you end up getting fucked in the end trying to make ---- work when it cant.

Hey there guy, no need for the hostility.

I have a backup turbo, just in the case I can't find any info on this one.

I just sold my precision SC61, and have a gt4088 journal bearing that will be thrown on in the case that this one isn't what i want...

So yeah, don't talk ----. Just wondering.

My bad, I was just in a bad mood before, it is definitely an ebay special with a t4 hot side most likely .80-1.00 A/R, I would go out on a stretch to call it a T04b, compare it to the smallest trim gt35 maybe the largest trim gt30, its journal bearing though I am pretty sure, will have capabilities of 300-650 ish horsepower I would have to say, all dependent on application.

I was assuming that, well for $100 bucks to hell with it, I will try to make some power on it, and when it blows, ---- it. Ha. Then i'll throw on the 4088.

By the way, it's all good, I know some dumbass questions get asked on hmt lol.
