I was thinking last night that if on a Honda with ITB would it make any sense to extend the TBs so that they came out of the hood and faced forward so that you get the forced induction effect? Just curious tell me what you think

 

If you curve it and do it smoothly it is a loooooooooooong way to travel and I hope this is a drag car. Stuff will get in there too.

but wouldnt it be longer if you had it running through an intake or for that matter a CAI so why is that such an issue??

 

build a box on the intake side of the ITB's but dont put a lid on it. make it seal on the underside of the hood and have a big hood scoop in the hood over the box. that is probobly your best shot and like samson said it better be a drag car for something like that

i appreciate everybodys input I do realize that this would be a setup for a drag car but I was just playing with the notion that it might work
