Just got my clutch in now car wont rev past 4k
 

its a d16a6 with a 14b on turboedit 450cc injectors. plugs gapped at .28. We do have a launch installed at 4k. could the clutch install throw anything off?

A sensor is my guess. Speed being my best guess.

putting a clutch in has nothing to do with rev. have u drivin it around the block ?

simple question to eliminate VSS issue, when you're driving, does your speedometer work?

its on top in the back

thats even easier push it down and make sure its locked in the little clip or if the clip is event here. pull up on it too, to make sure it doesnt come out.

VSS was the -------. It was in the tranny too just not in there right i guess.

yeah, if the vss isn't working and you have launch control set, the launch control never turns off because it normally turns off when the car reaches a certain speed, but with no vss, it doesn't know when to turn off ;)

weird cuz i drove for a while without mine cuz i was to lazy to put it back in n i had no problems???


push the bitch all the way in the tranny if anything it broke some how like my first one did. change the cable from ur cluster to the tranny n ur good to go. the actual vss sensor hardly ever goes out from what ive seen.
