just got her boosting, lagging on the boost, need some help

Hey,
first I must say what's up to DrBoost because he's been the only one helping me so far, but I figured I might try in here because my question is more related to this part of the forum.
So I got the turbo goin on my sohc vtec, and it's a little T25, anyways, the boost was going way higher than 7psi which is what I want to run, and when I first ran it, the boost was creaping up real early and reaching 7psi around 3k rpms, but I was scared to get on it all the way because I was afraid that it was going to skyrocket to about 14 psi or so because that is what I've heard the wastegate is set at for these T25s, anyways, I've heard that you can get the turbo to spool up real early in the power band, around 2500-3000k, and then just stay up around 7psi all the way up to redline or close to it. Right now, I have bent the wastegate mounts to make the wastegate think that the rod is shorter thus opening the wastegate sooner than the presetted amount of 15 or whatever it was. I have a manual boost controller that I am using, and I set it up dialed it in until 7psi or there abouts, but it only gets to 7psi at around 6k rpms so it could be more of a beast than it sits right now.
I need some help with setting up the wastegate and the boost controller so I can reach the 7psi ASAP in the rpm band without boosting more than that higher in the power band. I am confused as to what I need to do because when I dial up on the boost controller, it just raises the boost as the rpms increase. I'm in Kansas, and there isn't a lot of people around here that can help me so I'm kinda beggin that someone will be able to help me out with this? Pics or any links would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!

the stock wastegate actuator is set to 8 psi, NOT 14 psi. the reason it boosts so quickly is because of how small the compressor housing it. i have that thing boosting 14 psi by 3k rpms on my womans GSX. they spool EXTREMELY fast. you will not hit more than 8 psi though unless the vacuum line off the wastegate comes off. if you arent instant boost spiking....just try getting on it. im sure everything is fine.

ok if it set to 8psi stock, take out your boost controller. just connect the wastegate to the turbo inlet housing or to your intake manifold. that should eliminate the boost creep also.sk8rmike is right, unless you got lake in the lines to the wastegate you shouldntbe going past 8psi. i would take out the boost controller and see what happpens.
