i just fixxed the timing and hooked up the boost controller with no luck. i thought the BOV might be set too loose but that didn't help either. how can i tell if the turbo is fucked? i can hear it spool but it doesn't go past like 1-2psi. i have checked all the pipes but can't find a leak. i don't think it would be a vacuum because the guage shows -20. anybody have anymore suggestion?

 

yo jeff hook that wastegate line up to a stong vac source my t3t4 was only pushing 4psi like ---- now it goes 5-6 on the same setting and gets there alot faster, also if you try adjusting the internal wastegate too far it really ***** with the spool time, what kinda mbc do u have? i need to get one also.

---- i just got a downpipe for my car made. i had my friend adjust my timing the other day but i got the same codes today. what could be making my timing keep getting fucked up?

 

hooked the wastegate up to the intake manifold and still the same thing but since my downpipe has been put on i can't hear it spool at all. i am seriously starting to think my turbo is fucked.

 

check and see if the turbo compressor seal is there. it's a thin paper seal that can be seen when you unbolt the compressor.
