Default Just did a few hard runs with the car.

All I can say is damn last night I wasnt sure if all this effort I put into the turbo kit really paid off. After that drive. I'm totally sold. That ---- rips. No traction first and second and redline comes fast as ----. Slapped into 3rd it hooked and I flew to 100mph. Came home checked the plugs all black/brown except cyl1 (see thread: https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=11430) which was a dark black with a little white around the top of the porceline (its always been a little whiter for some reason). But ----. If you guys have any doubts about sohc turbos. Slap yourself really really hard. Im 139% satisfied. Now about that clutch.... Tuesday isnt coming fast enough.

looks good man. i would test your plug wires just clean connectors and put a multimeter on both ends check resistance. the resistance will vary with length but should all be in the same ballpark. I had the same problem on my 90 lude if i remember right it was a loose connector in the #1 plug wire.

thats a great idea i have never seen before using the stock DSM 02 housing as the downpipe. how does that work? iv never seen a stock DSM 02 housing so i dont know what the bends look like on it. how does it connect to the rest of your exhaust?

Sorry for the late reply, was in Atlanta all weekend. The dsm o2 works fine. Its just a like 90 degree down pipe. Then used a flange that goes back straight to the muffler. The wires are brand new so I doubt its a loose connection. In that pic it was JBWeld now its some quick 4 min epoxy stuff that I'm in love with.
