There isnt much information about this intercooler? Has anyone used it? I hope its good cause I just dropped 100 dollars to get one shipped to me.

Here is my planned setup.

I going to have a small transmission cooler/heat exhange, the fluid will be stored in my windshield washer fluid tank(might go bigger). I will hook up a dx/s fuel pump to pump the water to the intercooler. Then for those times where I need some extra cooling, I'm going to hook up my paintball co2 into a nitrous line to cooler or fluid tank. Sounds good? Feedback is welcome.

ur just adding things that will require u to up ur maintenace

 

I sure hope the CO2 is far away from your intake. It's inert, so it's not combustible. Most people use N2O or even water. However, it's not as simple as it sounds.

the co2 will have an exit hose at the side of the car on the opisite side of the intake.

how many pounds are you planning to boost again?

 

I'm at 7psi with a wideband tuned urberdata. I might go to 8 or 9 when the track opens, I want this motor to last.

dno't use a tranny/oil cooler, use a heater core or radiator from a bike or something- they're designed to cool water. oil coolers have larger passages (for higher viscosity fluids) and less internal surface area and are less efficient at exchanging heat. just MHO.

throw a few capfuls of redline water wetter in the water too, it'll help with heat transfer.

there are a few guys on the MR2 boards using that IC running upwards of 18psi with good results, so <10psi should work out peachy

 

I might look for a small radiator off some POS car in the bone yard.

good advice, about the first helpful thing I've gotten off of two boards. I read about the wetter water trick.

 

Get a ford lightning front water intercooler for that beast. You can find them from guys upgrading and they are a good size. I can go measure mine if you like just pm me.

 

those require some work, I think the bottom side is open since its a sc.
