junkyard turbo install

aright so i've done a lot of searching and am saying so like the other threads have said, and theres no way in hell i'm posting any gay porn, so i better not get banned.

aright so my question is this, how does the charge pipe actually get routed from the intercooler to the tb and from the turbo to the intercooler. i've tried figuring out in my head how the tubes will run around in there but cant figure it out yet.

also, are there any turbo INSTALL write ups around anywhere? i already know what i need and where to get it, now i need a little help on the how to install part.

oh, another question, i've heard both are better than the other, so do any of you know what the real dif between internal and external wastegates? i thought about buying an internal wg to spare the extra work on putting everything together for the external wg stuff.

hmm what other q's do i have...at the moment i cant think of any but if i do i'll search around and if not then i'll post again :) oh and just a tip to some of the mods around here, a lot of the links i've clicked on end up being broken or not found, a little housecleaning may be needed ;)

-edit- oh yeah, i drive a 1997 Honda Accord LX sedan, f22b2 automatic tranny.

well for starters .. swap the thing to a manual ! ;) lol , but for the charge pipe u can use like a cheap ebay cold air intake and a couple of 180 degree bends u can buy off here somewheres .. then u just hack up em up and figure things out .. or if ur cheap, pvc pipe lol or use misc. charge pipe/radiator hose from older turbos cars

like turbo d said, you can buy some mandrel bends from here, or jc whitney, or wherever you want, and you cut them to the desired bends you want. then you can either weld them together, or use pipe couplers to hold it all together. as for installing everything, it's not that complicated if you know the parts under the hood. the turbo manifold replaces the stock manifold, the turbo bolts on to the turbo manifold, the downpipe bolts to the turbo, the charge piping goes from the turbo, to the intercooler, to the tb, bov goes on the charge piping after the intercooler.... you should be able to get the rest after that. also, an internal wastegate mounts on the turbo and opens a flap in your downpipe that routes exhaust gas past the turbine wheel. an external wastegate bolts on to the manifold, and releases exhaust gases before it even gets to the turbo. and 1 last thing, search OWNZ YOU. all this stuff is covered somewhere
