Junkyard/cheap turbo setup

Hello everyone, I'm gonna post up a thread with my questions on my up coming build.

I've been researching about turbos for about 6 months, and I can't lie, I wanna turbo my integra haha, I was given a 14b for free, good starter turbo hoping to hit 180-200whp.
(just a fun dd)

Where are the best places to purchase stuff?
because obviously I need a manifold and adapter plate, what style manifold should i use? HF?

where can i pick those up?

The 14b will make a decent match for your power goal no problem.

As for where to buy parts/components... Search around. Kijiji, local car club forums, ebay (careful what you buy off ebay...lol). Just keep searching and you'll find what you need. Be patient and not settle on something that might not be ideal for your setup just because it's cheap or available.

i don't know what mani i need honestly, can someone help?

A cast-iron log mani is probably the cheapest and easiest way to go for this setup.

HF manifold won't work for you, they don't fit on a B-series engine. Cast-iron log mani like MPR said or if your looking for something cheap go ebay

Cheap ebay tube manifolds usualy don't last very long from what I've seen, heard, read. Cast long mani's are just as cheap or cheaper and last pretty much forever. And for a power goal of 180-200hp, a long mani will perform quite well.

But it's your choice.

I'm a firm believer in cast manis. Also, on a side note, be very selective of your intercooler. Don't just buy a random huge intercooler because with a smaller turbo like that you'll lose alot of response and efficiency.

is there a stock manifold that can be modified to fit the b series head? im kind of in the same situation. would like to spend less than 800 on a home made kit.
