jumpy motor in boost
 

the car drives fine out of boost but when boost hits, it stutters and rumbles and doesn't pick up like it should, turbo kit is on d16z6 HF manny, t25 turbo first gen eclips BOV 12:1 FMU and motor is bone stock .... help me out guys.... thanx compression is about 160 all across...

no its not blowing black smoke, but it just studders once it starts boosting, i'll check gap and get let you know..

Just because it doesn't blow smoke, doesn't mean it doesn't have too much fuel!!!

Replace the FMU,

And almost 100% sure it's your plugs!! Get rid of the platinum ones if you have them, get standard NGK Coppers, then gap them to .030".

your compression seems kinda low dude.. mine was almost 200 on my Z6 before it blew

compression isnt the issue.

What size of injectors are you running?

possibly if the check valve or missing link isn't setup right

didnt say it was mister sensitive ::) just commenting that its low for a stock Z6 unless my motor was a freak
