Why are you looking for that specific turbo you probably better off finding a hybrid turbo replacement for the t28.

GL finding one for that price, with the whole drift thing and the sr20det uproar these are geting pricey. all the s13 motor kids want to swap to one of those from their T25. I've seen them go for up to $800.

what silvia are you looking to get the turbo from? The S13 and S14 aren't that great but go find a s15 and those are pretty nice garrett ball bearing turbo's but your better off just buying something new for how much that's gonna go for.

I don't know if you guys get them in the US (I'm in the UK)

But Nissan Pulsar GTI-R's also use the same turbo.

The GTIR's use a non ball bearing t28 turbo. I should know I had a GTIR SR20DET engine. Just buy a new turbo plus the t28 flange has a different bolt pattern from a t3 flange.

T28 is a great sized turbo for our application though. especially when you get into the BB or GT versions of it.

T28 are expensive in general the cheapest one I saw going on ebay was for like $350. They are overall great turbos.

That's what i am trying to do Foo, that t28 has a T3 super 60 compressor and it will probably spool up faster then your T3, so that is an upgrade from my tiny ass t25, the only reason i want to get THAT turbo is so i could retain my mani

I agree, the t28 is a perfect size for 1.6l, spools hella fast and will hang in for about 250hp without excessive heating of the intake charge(detonation). I was looking at these about 3 years ago and bought one off ebay for $150 in decent shape. Sold it a year later for $400. They are nice turbos, but don't pay more than $300 for a used turbo in nice shape. If its rebuilt, I wouldn't pay more than $400.

they are not that easy to find for cheap any more, as recently almost every audi 1.8t guy is looking for this turbo as a great upgrade, so good luck finding a cheap one.
and if you do find a cheap one and decide not to get it please let me know ;D
