JDM Garrett T25 on D16
Just wondering if ANYONE was familiar with this set up or knew where I could get some info. I found a good price for the HKS manifold that has the T25 flange, but i haven't been able to find any info from someone who's actually done that setup..I've done searches on MSN, etc. Also need to source that particular turbo...any help would be great guys..check out my DSM stuff in the classifieds...peaaace

nobody knows ANYTHING about this setup??? I can't believe HKS makes a manifold for this setup and NO ONE has seen it done...oh welllll

i believe the t25 and 14b utilize the same flange. i believe t25 good up to 10psi and 14b about 15psi

naaaahhh man, ur thinking about the DSM T25, I'm talking about the JDM t25 which is used on the nissan SR20DET...I've found a guy who sells them for $500 with a core...so I'm gonna start saving and hopefully by the first of next year I'LL BE THE 1ST PERSON ON THIS SITE RUNNING A JDM T25...unless someone is holding out on me :P peaace

... 500..whats the big deal about using the JDM T25, its not special or better then all those turbos of similar performance. and the new edelbroc D series turbo kit comes with a the T25 they use on SR20DET's.

Just run a t3 off a Saab a/r 63 hot a/r 43 cool. That bitch will boost all day long!And there only $80-$100 bucks.Use the other $400 to finish the kit ;D

I just wanted to use the JDM T25 cause it would be something different and I can get a manifold for a little over $250, whereas most ppl are paying upwards of $300 for a log style with a T3 or whatever flange. AND I'm not using an Edelbrock kit cause mommy and daddy aren't around to fork out $2500-$3000 and it's for y8 and z6 D16 engines, and I'm gonna be using an a6 for the time being AND unless I'm wrong(which is why I've been ASKING for info) the T25 I'm talking about isn't gonna die out at 9psi, but even if it DID that's cool cause I'm gonna be running 450's with tha hack(for the time being)...ANYWAYS, thanks for the opinions...peaace

ALSOOOOO I already have 2 80-100 dollar turbos that I'm skitterish about using since they came out of a yard. You're not gonna get a NEW T3 for $100, and I've just decided I wanna NEW turbo on my car...that's all
