Default JB weld oil drain fitting

well i welded a 1/2 in. steel tube to my oil pan to serve as the oil return for the turbo. i installed it once and it leaked, so i dropped the pan again, welded some more and it still LEAKED! im sick of droping the pan and i wanted to know if i clean off the oil and smeared some JB weld on there will it work? has anyone done this?
TIA

I drilled the whole out so that the fitting kinda threaded in ( KINDA !! not real good ) and then just gobbed the JB weld on both sides. Didn't use the "quik weld", and let it sit for 2 days..

Same here.. I put jbweld around the threads and threaded it in, then jbwelded both sides. So far no leaks from the 1/2" ID brass barb on the pan. Had some oil drain issues, but its good.

JB-weld all the way...easier than welding..and the only option if you use brass

I've fell in love with this quick set 4min hardening epoxy crap lately. ---- gets hella hard in 4 mins.

I just cut the hole the perfect size, threaded in that homedepot brass thing, and forgot about it. It has never leaked!

Silver brazing is good with brass.
