Default jb weld center section

i noticed i had a small crack in the center section of my ihi rhb5 right next to the water inlet. i filed down a groove into the crack and jb welded the whole thing. i was wondering if the jb weld will hold and how hot does the center section get on a water cooled turbo. also i know that small cracks in cast iron usually are alright. will this hold or will the crack ------. as far as i know the crack is only on a small portion of the water jacket and not where the bearings are inside.

thanks a lot i mostly need to know if the center section reaches temps above 600 degrees which i thought was pretty unlikely with a water cooled one.

JB weld is not going to hold up the heat in the center section
