internally wastegate turbo

I have bought a RHB5 from a mazda mx-6 for 45$ i dunno the condition but at least i know it spins... The car sat outside for 3 years... eehhh! the compressor housing has a little of rust on it and the wastegaste too. It seems to have no crack anywhere but what should i look on this turbo?

And i heard this turbo his set a 7~8 psi how do i know somone can back up? Can i set it lower or higher with this wastegate? Would on a stock d16z6 (with afc hack and 450cc injectors) be working allright or too much boost? Its a pretty small turbo but i dont want to blow my engine...

thak you

See if it needs a rebuild or not, check it out. You can up boost safely with a manual boost controller (bleed screw type). You can also play with the actuator arm, but not advised for someone without experience. Screw the AFC hack, run uberdata.

If you're rebuilding the bitch then go ahead and sand blast the housings.
