Default Internal WG or external WG

I found a manifold maker and i like his work.Ive decided to purchase one from him.My question is this.I can get the mani with wastegate flange for additional 15 bux.Now Im searching for a decent t3 or t3/t4 turbo.Should i get the turbo internally wastegated and no wastegate flange,or get the flange and externally wastegate it?Not planning on exceeding 10psi ever! I can save some cash but im worried about the performance of internal wastegates.Any1 got a recommendation? With or w/o external wg?Lataz oh yeah almost forgot....I could get the flange for the future but wont a flange blockoff suck?

I would get the flange welded on and use a block off plate for the flange. This way you can choose EITHER internal or external. Suppose you find a nice internally gated turbo and later down the road have problems with it you can always go to external.

get the flange welded on and like he said, block it off if you're going to run an internal wg, that way you have the option to upgrade later if you want without having to get your manifold rewelded. yes, a block off plate will hold fine.
