the wastegate is in referenced to the charge pipe section or the compressor side of the turbo.

is it a DSM T25 or a T25 with the T25 exhaust flange?

This is a T3 with an IHI wg actuator. Should be basically the same though

Any Questions? The only difference would be if you had a manual boost controller. If so, it could go between there among a few other alternatives.

I had to cut the bracket and redrill one of the holes. It was a bitch, because it was only like half of the existing hole needed to clear and the bit kept slipping back into the existing hole. I just took an old, shitty pair of vice grips and clamped them over the old hole to guide the bit. Worked great.

This pic shows what I cut and re-drilled.

Here is a shot of the mounted bracket. You can see where I re-drilled it. Even with countersinking and using Dewalt Pilot Point drill bits I couldn't get the hole redrilled. It just kept slipping into the existing hole. This is where the old vice grips came into play.

And here is how I connected it to the flapper. That metal piece is a bracket that came with my CAI that I never used. I only had to drill one hole in it because it had one in it already that was the perfect size. I got the E-clip to hold it on at Home Depot.

I love hacking up internal wastegates

My favorite is a recent one I did, I had no room for the actuator between the block and compressor, so I just mounted the ****** to the block, hahah

It does give one a certain feeling of satisfaction.. Especially if you knew what I had to work with to do it. No nice garage with nice tools. I did that ---- using a ghetto 18v drill and a 3" clamp on vise connected to my computer desk. That's what gives the most satisfaction
